Mike Brackett
FOUNDER & CEO
Mike broke into the Grocery industry at 9 years old, making a (modest) splash as a bagger at his family’s local supermarket in Maine. Since then, he’s dedicated his career to the industry, growing from a stock clerk into an executive over the past two decades. Mike spent over 10 years at Ahold Delhaize, where he oversaw a $650mm portfolio as a category manager. The challenges he faced there, making decisions based on the limiting one-dimensionality of syndicated data, inspired him to found Centricity and help companies drive success through better customer data. Mike lives in Manhattan with his dog, Piper, who may or may not require more attention than running a company.
Jason Nichols
CTO
Jason Nichols is a father of 3, husband of 1, proud Centralien, and experienced technology leader in innovation. Just like Mike with retail, technology is in Jason’s blood. Jason started work at his uncle’s ISP in 1998 (then called Intercall, later Advanix), and has continued growing in the space ever since. His first programming languages were Batch, Basic, and Bash, though he later learned PERL and JScript. He has since worked at or consulted for organizations like Walmart, Time Inc, Goldman Sachs, IAC, Hearst, and the New York Stock Exchange with a specialty in applying data engineering and data science to hard practical problems. He is a sought after speaker having presented on the topic of solving real business problems and generating real business value with AI (specifically NLP & CV). You may have seen him speak at The AI Summit, AI4Retail, ProductCon, DublinAI, or TEDx in the before times.
